| | We always try to have a craft one day each week that is a picture frame for the kids to decorate and then their pic is in it from VBS. I wanted to get frames for 4x6" pictures so that I didn't have to worry about cropping the pics or anything. I hadn't seen anything I liked or would work at OTC or anywhere else, but Michaels has wooden frames to decorate for only $1 each this week. Just thought I'd pass that info along! I was able to buy 70 of them today and there were still a ton left. Yea! I didn't know how many they would have in stock.

| Dollar tree also has $1 picture frames, ranging from 1 1/2x2 to 9x11.

Check out VBS Groupies for resources to help with the planning of your VBS. |

| | Yeah Marshall, I love that store! With the amount of business we give the Dollar Tree I wonder how in the world their stock prices can drop. They should be skyrocketing, especially during VBS months! http://www.dollartree.com/stock.cfm A couple of months ago I saw some nice frames covered in leather-like material. I was tempted to pick some up for crafts, but remembered that I have relinquished that responsibility. I have enough to worry about with deocorations and curriculum!

| We're going to use a "Wanted Poster" as our VBS frame. We will take each child's picture in front of a themed background. After we copy the posters onto brown or tan cardstock, we will have each child write her/his name on the line underneath the photo. We will create a hanger by punching two holes in the top two corners and threading jute or ribbon thru the holes. Wah-hoo!

| I picked some up at Hobby Lobby's website. It will redirect you to craftsetc.com and then you can search from there.
