| The Teeniest of the Tinies need Sunday School Too! But Boy do the Teachers ever need ENERGY! This is the place for those who have any thoughts, opinions, or difficulties to find a helping hand, hammer out problems, and report fun, cute, and amusing stories! Can't wait to hear them!

| | Evidently, one of the toddlers from my class this week told her mother, "Jesus died on a cross. But He not dead!" What a joy that brought to my teacher's heart! And here I was wondering if she was paying any attention at all during class! It is truly amazing how much these little ones absorb, even when you think they aren't listening.

| | I don't work in the 2's class anymore but when I did we taught the kids songs with little motions, one of the kids would go home each week and sing the songs to their parents. The parents were not saved and didn't come to church (grandparents brought them). The grandparents told me that although the parents of the kids still don't come to church the enthiusasim of their children and the songs the sing to them are getting through. You just never know how it will reach someone! We had a lady from our church make up our 2's curriculum but we used hands on bible for 3-4's. We loved the hands on bible curriculum. I really miss those little ones, the keep you on your toes but ohh what fun!!!!!!!! Blessings, Melissa |

| | Yes, Yes... it's 9:55pm on a Saturday (at least here), and I should already be finished preparing my lessons for tomorrow - but I had a quick thought/idea: I always find that the amount of items to do in a lesson take way more time than I have to fill (our Sunday school class time is only 30 minutes) - but the activities sound like so much fun that I want to do them all. So - this unit (I've just begun the 3/4s Spring Curriculum) I'm spending at least two weeks per lesson - which gives the children two rounds with the same lesson (in the Toddlers/2s, they usually have 3 weeks with very similar lessons anyways), but new activities to reinforce the lesson. Tomorrow - our second "Palm Sunday" lesson (yes, we're behind) - I will get to be a donkey, and we will FINALLY do some of the leaf drawings/stampings. Last week, we made palm branches and learned the memory verse song, to which I added some actions using the palm branches - which they loved. Keeping the leaf stamping/tracing in mind - There is NO WAY I could possibly have done this when we ought to have done the lesson (some time in late March/early April). I live in NB, Canada, and we had snow until after Easter this year! There was narry a leaf to be found! (I'm attaching a picture of my family on Easter Sunday - it was BRRRR - Cold!) And though I tried, the silk leaves from the church's flower displays just wouldn't do the trick!
