Tandy leather has great prices on leather wristbands.  Churches automatically get a better price.  We are ordering 300 @ 15.00 for a bag of 25.  Check it out.  Our teen helpers will also be able to make one for themselves.

God Bless,

Marichin

We are going to use tooling stamps, and we will also use paints.  Both are available from tandy leather.  We are going to use these on the day that the children learn that God Is Strong, because leather is a strong material.

God Bless,

marichin

How did you get the price of $15? I emailed and she said the church price was $29.99 for 25, and that was for 500. That is a little out of reach once I add the leather tools.

I am in ohio.  I called a local store.  Maybe they would give you that price also.  If you look under locations you could call the cleveland location.  I talked to the manager.  She even gave me discounts on the tooling supplies.

God bless,

marichin

We ordered imitation leather craft bracelets from Oriental Trading - $5.95/12.  I'm hoping that you can write on these with sharpies - that's our plan.

I was thinking about a leather wristband as well.

Check out www.guildcraftinc.com for some cool stuff.

Here is a set of Christian leather stamps--the kids will love to "pound" these out!

Did you order the imitation leather bracelets?  If so, are you able to write on them?  I'm thinking of using this for one of our crafts.

Thanks!

I would also like to know any suggestions other than stamps for leather - will markers work, or will they not show up well? I guess we could do paint - is there a particular kind of paint anybody can recommend?

I'm planning to do key chains from the leather sheriff's badges from Springfield Leather as somebody mentioned in another thread, but haven't figured out how to have the kids decorate their badges.

Thanks!
