So Kathy...I am glad to find someone in this world as paranoid as myself when it comes to my children. Thanks for your lengthy post and website info. I agree with everything you said. Us Mommy's are very protective our babies and I am sure that is a good giving trait. I am sooooo happy however, that at the end of the day, God is Sovereign, God is omnipotent, and God is omnipresent! Can you imagine raising kids with out that knowledge?! Good grief, I couldn't! I've remarked several times that I don't know how anybody is a parent or is married WITHOUT the Holy Spirit!  Don't mess with a Mama Bear!
I didn't see Kathy's post but am getting the idea from subsequent posts. Yes, there's nothing like that mother bear, is there?!! My baby just left for the airport for Cancun (spring break) and will return on his 23rd birthday. No matter how old they get, we always "see" them as "our babies"... as he was walking out the door, my mind's eye saw him as an infant in my arms... I melted all over the place and he ran back for 1 more hug.
