We start VBS tomorrow evening and please pray that all goes smoothly.  It's a big change for our community VBS (never done stations before!) and I know my stations (S&P and Roundup) are ready to go.  Roger's doing Bible Adventure, and he's ready to go (even if his Rahab bailed on him today at church! )

I'm just nervous for registration, crew leaders (who didn't show up for the training) and parents who don't like change!  So keep me in your prayers!  I'm just going to lead the singing and keep my head low the rest of the time!

Peggy, I praying that God saturate you with His peace and give you and your volunteers energy galore to blow the minds of the parents who may be sceptical. Keep smiling, be gracious with the sceptics and allow yourself to enjoy the week!

Thanks guys!  Just to clarify, I've been using Group's VBS since the Bible Ship, but the community VBS that our church is involved in has never done this!  (Hubby pastors two churches and we started using Group back at our previous church!)

I spent some quality time in prayer on the porch this morning.  Even got visited by this little hummingbird:

I'm feeling better about things thanks to Cindy's kick in the pants last night!    (You're right... God does want this to succeed even more than I do!)  I just feel like we're taking VBS to the next level... from entertainment to spiritual growth ... and there is a small group who doesn't want this it all.

What's a friend for?

It is going to be aweseome!!  Like I said, only you will notice the little things that go wrong.  Most people are just in too much awe of the big things.

Just wanted to share that a Mom told me tonight that her kids had never been so excited about VBS every day before!  That's an answer to prayer!  We ended up with over 200 kids this week and they had a fantastic time!

I truly appreciate all the prayers.  They mean so much to me.  Now I'm excited because people are thinking about next year already!
