| Here is what I came up with for preschool crafts... And they were a success! The kids loved the rocks and chalkboards! And I had excellent response from teachers and parents! (They only thing I would change is the journals... I'd decrease the number of pages to glue in... it took the kids awhile to just get the pages in, let alone decorate with the stickers, PLUS the parents showed up early to pick up the kids!)
We had around 275 preschoolers, I planned for 285. What fun I had!!
Day 1 Hide the Spies (Group's alternative in Crafts Packet)
Day 2 "God Is With Us Always" Prayer Journals (2 paper bags, 6 pages)
Each page was copied onto parchment paper or off-white paper for a more authentic, old western appeal. OTC stickers were used.
Pages included:
1) Cover
2) This prayer journal belongs to, with AR Logo, characters
3) VBS Autographs
4) Daily VBS Bible Verses
5) My favorite Bible Verses
6) Prayers and Thoughts
7) Prayers that have been Answered

Day 3 River Rocks in Burlap Bag (bought 16 yds burlap, cut it down and sewed bags, 4 1/2" x 6") Used OTC western foam stamps. I stamped rocks using StazOn ink and rubber stamp.

Day 4 Chalkboards (similar to vberkesch... ours were 8x8 and used the spray paint) I wanted to make the erasers too, but ran out of time... OTC stickers were used.

I just LOVE VBS! IT was a blast! I can't wait 'til next year...
