My daughter Trisha is in Junior high and last Friday a classmate threatened her life. The threat is being handled very seriously and the police is involved, etc. While the boy has been suspended from school for a few days (during police investigations and pshycological assessments) he is due to possibly return to school next Wednesday. In a meeting with the principal this morning we have been told that when he does return to school, it will be after security measures have been implemented to keep him away from our daughter. I explained to the principal that regardless of security measures they plan on implementing, Trisha will not go to school when this boy is present - I prefer to homeschool her for the remaining 3 weeks of the school year then take unecessary risks. My prayer request is threefold. Please pray that Trisha remains safe and that she regains her sense of safety as she is very frightened and having nightmares. Please pray that the boy gets the help he needs. Please pray that the school (and the school system) recognizes that the boy needs to be expelled before physical harm comes to anyone.

I will keep your daughters situation in my prayers.  I completely understand what you are going through.  A couple of years ago my daughter's life was threatened at her Jr High School.  Upon finding out I immediatelty contacted the school.  They promptly expelled the girl from school and strongly suggested she seek help and a new school.  I was thankful for the immediate action on the schools part, but no police investigation ever took place.  Still to this day my daughter keeps one eye out for this girl.  I pray your daughter can have a peace during this time and after.  Lifting you both in prayer, now.

I am praying for your daughter and for you.  I pary that God will bring your daughter closer to Him and that He will work in the school officials and the other students hearts.

With prayer,
Lynette

Thank you for your support ladies. As it stands the police are laying charges against the boy however, he is returning to school on Wednesday. My daughter is feeling somewhat better now that she knows she will not be returning to school as of Wednesday except to take her exams; at which time I will accompany her and stay with her. Thank you for your prayers!

Wow Frenchie I am just reading this...

I will pray for your daughter, and the complete situation.  It's hard enough for kids taking exams.  Tell her good luck.  She will do fine.

Blessings,
