| I'm brain dead at this point and you've all been great at supplying ideas so I wish to tap you. I've done my daughter's wedding 2 weeks ago and start by VBS on July 30th so I'm on automatic pilot at this point. I have purchased the Prairie Dogs from Group as a thank you to my volunteers. Any cute sayings I can attach to this critter as a thank you? Thanks in advance for all the great ideas I know I will get!!!!
Blessings to all,
Mal |

| I just got through with my "thank you's" this morning. We are having our closing program tomorrow night. I usually write a personal note on every single card. I just did not have the time this year. We have a VBS staff of 80 people, so that is a lot of writing! This year I wrote "Blessings" and signed my first name on each card. I hope people don't think I'm being short or rude.

| Our thank you notecards said "Much Obliged, Pardner!" on the front.
And on the inside it said [something like]:
Thank you for answering the call to be God's hands & feet
at Crosspoint Community Church KidsCamp 2007
Where we saw that:
God is Real * God is With Us * God is Strong * God is Awesome * God is In Charge
Maybe that will give you some inspiration, or feel free to use these exact sentiments in your notes
God Bless!

I came back today to visit the thread so that I could check and see if anyone had been successful in helping and sure enough... you came through! Great ideas!!

| We bought coffee beans and had them packaged in 1/4lb bags. We put a "Buc's Star Coffee" sticker on the outside of the bag. I then attached the thank you card from Group and wrote a short note thanking each volunteer. The adults got coffee beans and the youth got a package of hot chocolate. Everyone got a laugh out of the coffee beans. |
