| We finished VBS (including all the clean-up... since sanctuary renovations started today!!). It was a good week! We were praying for 120 kids and our biggest day, we had 104. 
I'd like to thank all of you for the great ideas you posted and all the pics that you put online---I couldn't have done what I did without all of your creative inspiration!!
(You'll notice the barn siding scene setters, faux sunflowers, faux haybales, wagon wheels..... the list goes on.) Thank you, thank you!!! (Big hugs!!!)

| | Awesome job on all the facades, especially the barn! Loved the chuckwagon! Did you ever get any of Denise's decos? I was waiting to hear from you to pick up the wire. I trust you all had a Wah-hoo time! Now let's get the gears moving for PL!!!

Thanks for the nice responses!! I am excited to see what program our church chooses for next year's VBS. (We have a new part-time Children's ministry pastor so..... we'll see.)
But I'm a bit confused by your post PJ.... I wasn't in contact with Denise at all. And I'm pretty sure I wasn't planning on getting wire from you... (Was I that busy that I'm not remembering something??) |

| Hi...this is a twofold reply! First, to yankeewifey.....BEAUTIFUL decorations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything looks great AND I LOVE the balloon cowboys...you need to send the couple that made them "on the road"---what a blessing!
To PJ....yes, I heard from Denise...should be able to get decos next week...someone is using them this week. We are "gearing up"--AR starts Aug 20.
