We are pre-registered at 271 as of today.  We expect another 100-150 registering on Monday, July 9th.

This is one of our biggest outreach events each year.  There is no charge for participation.

We have over 150 volunteers on the roster and are expecting more tomorrow.

We have been using Group for many years now. Last year we went with another program and the kids let us know how much they missed chatter, and frankly we missed the program. It is so well done.

We average 250 children a day and this year have a record of 296 registered with 265 PRE-registered.

I like the online registration, but for a program our size it need a bit of improvement. That is one of the great things about Group, they listen to our needs. Thanks Group, for helping us reach children with the love of Jesus.

We planned for 200 elem. kids this year.  Plus we have pre-school and nursery for the VBS staff.  There is around 20 kids in that department.  We are in VBS this week (July 23rd - 27th).  It has stormed and rained every day this week.  But praise the Lord we still had our 200+ in attendance.  I will post pic's soon.

We start tomorrow and we have 205 registered.

This is our largest year ever. We had 130 two years ago when I took over, 170 last year and now this!

Keep us in your prayers. We sure can use them!

Our VBS started this week!!  It has been very fun and exciting.  On Friday we had 85 kids registered, by Monday we had 75 new people registered.  UGH!  Good thing I was planning for over 175 kids.  I even had the on the registration form, "Please register by July 29".

We survived the chaotic first day...enjoyed the second day...and now I am gearing up for the third day!
Please pray for the children that are attending, the crew leaders and helpers, the station leaders, and please pray for myself (the director), I haven't not had a full nights rest for two days.

I also wanted to add, our mission project is one that a member of our church started in Malowi, Africa.  She is building an orphanage (sp?) and spoke about the children she had met in Africa, shared a few pictures, and showed us some of the clothes that the children wore.  Everyone (children and adults) were moved by her presentation.  I love that it was so meaningful with it being a mission project that missions from our church are apart of and now our children are apart of it as well.  Great moments at AR!
