In addition, you'll find an idea each week for families, as well as for pastors or anyone wanting to do a children's message (to introduce the Bible story in a large group, as a family devotional, or in your worship setting).

| | Our children's ministry is new to Faithweaver this year and for the most part I'm getting positive feedback. The one area that seems to be a challenge to most people is using the CD sound tracks during story telling. I had one comment that if a pause is missed or stop button accidently hit the whole track needs to be replayed. Suggestion was to have each part on it's own track to try and avoid this problem. Any comments from anyone ? I thought it might be one person who was tech. challenged but I've had the comment from several people |

| | Thanks, Ken, for sharing the feedback. I'll pass this along to our development folks. I know there are some of our curriculum CDs that I have seen (not sure if it was in FaithWeaver or not) that do have two parts. Keep letting us know how it's going, and any other ideas or suggestions you have. We love getting your input, and our revisions do include as much of the feedback as we can. | | Hi Ken - We have the same problem. There is something about having a room full of kids staring at you that makes it hard to run a CD player! I put the CD in itunes and then burn a seperate CD with just the tracks for that morning. I put the songs for worship on the CD and any tracks for the lesson. Then the teachers just go in order through the CD. We also have some 4th grade boys that LOVE being in charge of the 'tech' needs in a room. I assign them to the different ages and they run the CD players. It takes the burden off the teachers. Good luck! |
