| I was playing with the sharpie and alchol experiment tonight and it works so good. I think I am going to use for my lab coat.

| I would Love to see pictures! I have two girls 3 & 5 (our biggest age groups at VBS) and I let them play around with it too. We discovered that you have to move rather quickly or the ink doesn't seem to spread as well.

Have you figured out how to make the shirts relate to the Bible story for the day?
I too used more than the 20 drops. I'm going to see if our local pharmacy will donate medicine droppers for this craft. |

| | we are going to use it for day 4 the story is jesus dies I am thinking of doing cloth hankies I just don't know which way I will go making a cross with the spots or puting a cross in the center of each spot.    What do you think?

| I vote for the Cross inside!
Did you just draw the small cross in black, and add the colored dots around it? I never thought about the cross "growing" too! |

Did you just draw the small cross in black, and add the colored dots around it? I never thought about the cross "growing" too!I drew the cross in black let it set for a few min them drew dots around in orange pink and red. the cross was 1 1/2 inches long for refrence I tried a smaller one and it was lost.

| There are many websites out there (I've used www.blankshirts.com many times) and white Ts of good quality are under $2 each. That's a great price and very affordable!

| | I think the marker idea with alcohol is very interesting. We have too many kids and don't do tee shirts, but we have been doing bandanas and color-coding groups. This idea might work with making bandanas from white sheets or finding a cheap white knit fabric. Good place to use some of those Jo-Ann half price coupons! Cut them in triangles. It would be best to stay with white, but the edges could be serged with colored thread to mark the groups - no hemming needed, but maybe fray check on the corners - and the kids could work on a design on the back. I don't have time to play with this right now, but I'm going to keep it on file and try it later on. Thanks for the tip! Jane in IN |

| Just so you know all the samples I showed are on regular woven fabric It just worked best on mostly cotton fabrics I am going to do some samples on neon colors I will post the pics when they are done.
