| Hi...we did "A Mouse's Tale" this year...first pageant at this church in 30 years!!!!!!!!!! It was a HUGE hit (thank you, Jesus!) and I have already had questions about "what are you doing next year?" Can anyone tell me more about the other pageants offered by Group ...specifically, do they all require 20-25 kids? I have that many and would not want to choose a pageant that only needs a few...I even had a few young adults get involved this year! Also, any more detail about the plots? The info on the Group page is not quite as descriptive as I would like....guess this will be my new passion...second only to VBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks! Kimberly

If you will check the Group website, you will find that you can preview the Table of Contents (with all songs listed) and the Introduction to each on of the Instant Christmas Pageants. | Thanks, Lisa....I will check these out...have you used any and, if so, any you prefer? I am so excited...I made posters (ala scrapbooking style) w/ the pics from the pageant and everyone loved them...especially my amazing kids! Blessings! Kimberly

| After your rave review, I ordered all the Instant Christmas Pageants from Group for my children's music leader. I can't wait to get my hands on them! AND I promise, I will share my discoveries on the forum.

| | Here's the first of my reviews - The Not-So-Silent Night Instant Christmas Pageant http://store.grouppublishing.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?item=432§ion=16791 ....begins with the Not-So-Silent Night Rap which is refreshing, hip and unexpected for a Christmas play. The scene is a court room where they are in the midst of a trial for disturbing the peace. The Shepherds are on trial and all other traditional nativity characters are witnesses. Throughout the drama, the congregation is invited to sing favorite Christmas carols ending with Joy to the World. The dialogue is cleverly comic keeping the audience engaged and wondering what wacky character will be the next to be cross-examined. Costuming is a cinch. Staging is simple. If you are looking for a traditional children's choral presentation with anthems, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a program that is unique, easy to plan, produce and rehearse, then The Not-So-Silent Night will delight you, the children and your congregation.

| Hi Kimberly - The Fumbly Bumbly Angels Christmas Pageant is a great production for your fumbly bumbly children. This one is more traditional subject matter with little angels trying to get into the heavenly chorus. Grandparents and parents will really warm to this theme because everyone gets to be a Christmas angel!!!

| Operation Baby King is an interesting twist on the Christmas story. Secret Agents argue and plot over who has exclusive rights to the new heavenly king, Jesus. It begins with a Mission Impossible gag that will resonate with boomers who watched the '60's TV spy show as kids AND the younger set who've seen all the retro movies. The acronyms for each agent and their organizations make you have to think like R.I.G.H.T.E.O.U.S. - Really Important Guys Having Terrific Egos of Unusual Size.
