I think that the video's could definetly be helpfull. even for us that have been doing this forever.

Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Psalm 122:1
I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."

I agree with the stories.  Sometimes even with the diagrams, it is hard to visualize the set etc.  I think the snacks are pretty easy too, but it may help some people that have never done them before.  I think they'd be a great training resource.

Maybe Group just needs to video the whole week at VBS and let us watch all the sessions so it would help everyone.

My people don't seem to like videos.  Honestly, I think that is one of the reasons I go to the networking parties.  Not only do I LOVE going, but it's a good time to actually do hands on stuff.  I can then go back to my people and do it with them if they would like.  Also, no offense, but none of this stuff requires a degree in rocket science, so I think it's all pretty cut and dry.  Sometimes the wording might mess you up (like it did me with the bubble solution this year!:w00t, but overall, IMO, the videos wouldn't do much for us.

On the flip side...I can see how it could be more helpful for people that haven't used Group VBS in the past!

My suggestion would be to have how to videos for all of them that can be purchased as a bundle or seperately for those who only need a certain station. Of all of these I would love to see a video on how to decorate the Chadder room. Most of the time I can come up with something but I found it really hard this year. I love the video's and think they would be much eaiser for everyone. I also think it will save a lot of time when in comes to meetings and things as well.

I vote it will be a great addition!

I saw power Lab on YouTube! Maybe someone else has said this but the crafts were there and so were some of the music. It was helpful for me to tell the assistants to take a look at it. So they can see what they will be helping with.

It's always good to search YouTube or other video sites and see the different Group VBS programs that were put on in a single year. It's a good way to get ideas if your VBS is later in the summer.
