| | I like/use both the NIV and the NLT. The NLT is easy to understand but takes away some of the meaning from the passage of scripture since this version is a paraphrase version. The NIV is easy to understand and the meaning is still there. God Bless, Josh T. in Ohio

| Ditto on the NIrV. I think I read it is more along the lines of a 6th grade reading level and to me it is a little better translation than some of the others than are better suited for younger readers. My humble opinion, of course.

| I use the NIV Study Bible mostly, but with my children I love the NLT Hands On Bible. We gave the NLT Hands On Bible as our presentation Bible this year and the children and parents LOVE it!
