| | I was just making supper and had a brainwave...zzzzaaappp!!! How to fill lots of containers cheaply without having anything nasty to spill (like hair gel, water, oil, etc) yet still be colourful and look like liquid?? Cello wrap / basket wrap !!!! it comes in any number of cool colours - especially near easter - can be bought in big rolls and cut to size then just wrapped around the INSIDE of the container!!!! wow!!!! can't believe my mind can come up with such amazing things !!! LOL - just kidding ! if you want it to look bubbly, you could put beads inside i suppose...but not everything has to bubble (or should bubble)! just thought i'd share this thought... happy planning!!! monica |

| It's funny the way our brains think while making supper!

| All I think while making supper is, "Gee, can't wait for these kids to grow up and start cooking ME dinner!"

| | Just a thought... another thing you could do would be to paint the inside of the beakers. It would take a bit of work, but you would not have to mess with saran wrap (I have never gotten along with saran wrap!!) |

| The cello/basket wrap is actually quite a bit stiffer and sturdier than saran wrap... and doesn't stick! you can roll it out flat and cut it with scissors to any size - just like wrapping paper. My mom and I had a gift basket business for a while, so I've had the "pleasure" of working with the stuff - you can even get rolls that are about 6 feet wide from big suppliers. However, the dollar stores will be the cheapest/easiest place to get it... for easter you should be able to find yellow, blue, purple, pink, green, etc - just look around... i think these would look awesome as "fake" liquid since the colours are good and they're still transparent... to fill something that's tapered you'll likely need to make a paper pattern and cut a bit of a "half circley" piece to make it fit in nicely. because they're transparent, you can still shine light through them as well. PS I loathe saran wrap! and the cutter.... they never work... then you get a bunchy mangled mess you have to try and untangle 'til you finally lose all sanity and toss the whole wad out. :-)

| Here's a snap shot I took of 2 containers I "filled" using cello/basket wrap around the inside of the containers... if you cut enough length to go around the inside 2 times, it makes the colour darker ( as seen above) - just thought I'd share - got these 2 colours of cello at dollarama this morning! - monica |

| | Great idea. Thank you! This way, we don't have to worry if someone picks one up and runs with it! |
