| | Is anyone worried that the prayer bears aren't going to last the whole time or even be a bit boring for the kids? It seems that last year the blankets took awhile. This year all they have to do is stuff the bears. I am afraid that the kids will be saying "Is that it?" I know they have to color the cover of the Bible book but I am wondering if they will really get into this. I am also afraid they will be wanting to put eyes, mouth, etc. on the bears? I do, however, love the bears!

| | I think our kids will focus a lot on the OK2K that day. After making the two bears and the tag for the pocket each child will be allowed to pray for the one who will receive their bears. Wednesday will be the perfect day for us to take pictures for our frame craft on Friday. That always eats up a good bit of time. This year our pastor is bringing up a horse for the kids to sit on for their picture. Should be a lot of fun! You can make your own bookmarks for the kids to decorate. That is Ranger's day so you can use a Vector image of him and the Bible verse. Print it out on cardstock and make a tassel out of raffia. I always have coloring pages of each day's Bible Buddy prepared for those who want to do more. My fifth grader still loves to color. I still love to color too!
For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me. Col 1:29
