| Does anyone have a source to get plastic 2 liter pop bottles BEFORE they are "blown up"? They are a hard plastic with the regular pop bottle screw on lid. These would be PERFECT for storing the slime the kids make for them to get it home. I am determined to find these at a reasonable price. i know early childhood conferences usually have them at booths for kids to use for science experiment. WHY CAN'T I FIND THEM!?! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know someone will hit a link I have yet to find.

| Search for "baby soda bottles" or "pre-forms"... I found at least 2 sights that you could buy them in bulk - not sure if they would be in your 'reasonable' price range... one of the sites was Steve Spangler.. I can't remember the other site, but it was a teacher supply source type site, if I remember right.
God Bless!

| | I actually found this out from our school science teacher...they are called "baby soda bottles" so you can search that or got to www.stevespanglerscience.com. He has some neat stuff and not too expensive (baby soda bottles run about $.44 each--I like them because the screw on caps are secure and something that little kids are used to using. I am also looking at using his UV beads (something like when you let the Son in your colors show) to make a 7-bead cross. |

| | You can find all kinds of plastic bottles, straight-side jars, and other hard-to-find "storage" items at US Plastics, a Christian-owned business. Here is the link to their website. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/default.asp |

| Oh, and another place to get the UV beads and other science stuff is at teacher source. They are a little cheaper than some other sites.Warning: this website can be addicting and will tempt you to get so much more cool stuff than you intended.

| | ...One more great thing about the baby soda bottles vs. other sources is that the caps fit on the bottom of the "test tube" to hold them upright while they are being filled!! (Fewer spills!!! yea!) The caps go on very, very tightly too. |

| | If you know anyone who buys Gerber juice or Smoothies for Babies, these bottles are awesome too! They're perfect size, with lids that screw on tight! |
