| In the past we had specail prayer meeting early on Saturday morning and everyone was always invited to attend. The thing I remembered the most was that we all broke up into smaller groups. My sugestion would be to meet with kids and parents alike. Divide into small groups you give a short devoation and let the small groups each pray together about VBS and things going on with it. I would even make a special annoucement that each group should have maybe four kids and four adults and that maybe the adults should have other kids besides their own in their group. I think most people would agree that their kids will behave better with other adults than with their own parents at times. Good Luck!
