Thanks for all the great ideas, guys!

I searched local area stores over and over and finally, the last place I looked, another 'dollar store' had a box full of toy swords with sound.  I took the batteries out and they will work.  Not as long as I would have hoped, by they WILL work.

Thank you, Jesus!

Usually you have to put batteries in to get something to work.

"Guidelines"?  Is that what is holding us up sometimes?   Good thing we are all very creative and don't let those get in the way?   Misty didn't let the guidelines of "install batteries" get in her way to get the swords to work.  She ignored those guidelines and ended up exactly were she wanted and needed to be.

I am glad you found your swords.  Maybe the ones I was looking at wasn't what you wanted so we didn't see the same thing?

So, how long (or short) did it take for the kids to realize that you took away the fun of the the swords?    You may think the swords are working, but they may see things a little differently?

No no no, the swords you all sent me to look out were perfect.  My problem was if I could get something for like, now.  The kids are performing it the 13th and with only a couple practices left, they needed something asap to use.  We have been using "invisible" swords

Plus, I was afraid if I ordered them, they might not arrive in time.  These will work, just not as long as I would have liked.

And as for the sound...lol...I think it would take away the effect of the human video if we had "clang" "clang" going on.  It was bad enough I walked across the parking lot with them going off!

Also, truth be told, I am very impatient. When I want something I want it now--childish I know and I recognize I need to work on that.  So, when I saw they had some that I could have in my hand (and 5 for $5), I couldn't resist in not getting them!

I have already found them and we performed our Human Video yesterday!  We got a standing ovation and their was a mixture of crying, yelling and whistling.  I was so proud of those kids!!!
