I know there are a few Hoosiers out there...where in Indiana?  When is your VBS?  How many kids will you expect?

I'm in Lebanon - about about 25 miles North West of Indy on I-65.  Our VBS is tentatively scheduled for the last week of June.  We typically have a fairly small group - no more than 50 kids, but I'm setting my goal for 60 this year, 75 next year!

I have been excited for this year's VBS since the week after last year's VBS!  This will be my third year as VBS director.  I just love it!  I only wish I could get more members of my congregation to be as obsessed as I am.

Hi Cheri,

I'm not to far from you. Our church is in Perkinsville, just northeast of Noblesville.  We're a small church. We've been doing Group VBS for the past 3 years.  Just got my PL materials and thought I should check out the boards.  We usually run 17 - 24 kids.  This year might be a few more as our children's ministry is growing! We don't have our VBS until the first week of August.

God Bless!

Penny

I'm here in Indianapolis at Liberty Baptist Church on the south side.

Anyone interested in sharing a stage area?  Maybe we can split up the list of supplies to purchase and then get together and build one stage to use during our VBS sessions.  I bought the decorating DVD because ladies in my church love to decorate and I thought it would be really cool to have all that, but after looking at the DVD and the list of supplies, it is both costly and very involved.

We are going to ask for donations from Menards and Home Depot and Lowe's and depending on what we get donated we were going to plan our decorations, but if we could somehow share that might make it more doable.

Our VBS is June 23rd - 27th.

Anyone interested?

Tina
