I have noticed that when a parent volunteers their child and clicks the box to volunteer that the parent is not given the opportunity to enter all of the info that the volunteer registration form gives them.  This is a problem for us since those volunteers would then have to be contacted to get the rest of their info.

Is there a way to remove the check box for the the childs parent to volunteer or have more info show for them?

I spoke with Group regarding this and he told me right off the bat that you should ADD a blurp telling the parent NOT to check the box and to directly go to the volunteer registration page and put their info in there.  He also said to be careful if it does happen and you see two parents that are the same, you don't neccessarily know which one has the children's info on it and may delete the one with the kids info. he said that they will be changing it next year, they are not able to remove that box this year.

good luck
