Has anyone ever ran into trouble with your pastor approving the use of the web box toy?

When I asked him to post the link on the church's website, he said that he didn't want to risk the parents and kids information leaking out on the internet.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to say to him to convince him that it is safe to use the Web Box Yoy?

Thanks, Susan

Susan:

I don't know if Group has any information on-line that indicates that it is secure or not.  But, show your Pastor the web address -- the "https" indicates that it is a secure sight -- if there is no "s" at the end of the "http", it is not secure. I know somewhere there is something in Group's literature that indicates that the director/church or whoever has access to your website that you've created are the ONLY ones that have access to that information -- Group cannot access your personal VBS information.  Sorry I can't direct you specifically to where that info is located -- just know it's either in the director's manual or on Groups website.

Hope that helps!

Kathy
