I've been reading about your different VBS....we do ours as a campout. We start on Thursday late afternoon and end on Sunday Afternoon. We did By the Sea of Galilee last year and loved it. We already have the Holyland kit and have been planning the shops...etc.

I was wondering if anyone has history on the tribes. I know that Samson had originated from the tribe of Gad. Where would I get more of such info. We are a small church, but have about 50 kids. They come 1 year and the next they return, but bring a friend cause they have had so much fun previously.

The history of each tribe is provided in the back of each's year's Tribe Leader Manual. If you've purchased Jerusalem Marketplace, check your new curriculum. If you're not planning to purchase it, check one of your Tribe Leader Manuals from Galilee. It should be in there toward the back.

What a cool way to do VBS! I think kids would really get the idea of being in Jerusalem when they stay there for 3 days! BigGrin
