| i spoke with our youth teacher who is looking for something to do with the youth during opening and closing. she says the kids tend to think this part is "babyish" (feedbk from last year's vbs) is anyone doing anything different for their youth? thanks...

| Does the leader think its babyish or the kids? Our youth love those sessions. Most of our youth are crew leaders, but we do a 6th &7th grade "youth" class...I think they would feel completly seperated if they weren't part of that time.

| I use the Jr. High students in my sing and play team. They think it is cool if they are leading the songs. Probably would think it is babyish if they were just participating. Have a few rehearsals with them before VBS to teach them the songs and motions. This not only gives them a purpose, but it also teaches them the words and the reason for worshipping the Lord. Also a great way to teach them to serve.

| thanks for the feedback. we have jr high and high together and they are in a bible study along with doing games, servant events. maybe some can lead the songs ..
