I know that most of the items being used in PL are not baby safe.  However we will probably have a room of 7-8 babies/walkers that will be taken care of during this time.

Is anyone doing anything with their babies?  Are there any safe items that the babies can touch & feel?

Just trying to get some new ideas for this area.

Thanks for your input!

Last year our nursery folks were awesome!  My daughter got a baton to "march" around Jericho and lots of other fun things.  We try to give them some version of the Bible lesson for the night, then mostly let them have free play time.  They joined the prek for snacks.

We have made the atom like things made from sponges that would be a fun touchy thing for toddlers. You cut up the soft sponges into 6 strips (cut into thirds first, then cut those in half). Put a stack of 9 or so together and then use a zip tie in the middle, pulling really tight. Cut off the end of the tie. The sponges came in packs of 10 at the dollar tree. Use multi colored strips for more fun.
