| | Our opening/closing is always in our large open space. We have crew signs on poster board, with the image taped on front and back. We just use one sheet per crew and fold them in half and staple them over the large paint stick (from Home Depot). We save our sticks every year and reuse them. The crew carries them around. We also use the same room for Chadder's Theater. Can't use balloon's but that'd be cute. What we've done that works for us is to print out all the crew signs and back them on colored paper then laminate. Once laminated we use painters tape and stick them on the floor for each crew. They seem to last for the week that way. The painters tape doesn't harm our floor. We group our crews into pods. Each pod is it's own color, and that is the color we back the crew sign with and use the same color for the posterboard. The pods all travel together to the different stations. We also use another laminated crew sign, with the colored backing, to mark their snack spot. Makes it handy to know which crew needs to come back and clean up!  Good Luck to you! Laura |

| | We tape our signs to the end of the pews. Here's what I cam up with this afternoon. I used 5.5" x 8.5" foam sheets from Dollar Tree and foam stickers. The beaker shape is from Group's free clip art. Pam

| Great job Pam! And great use of those foams from Dollar Tree. I bought some and cut out paint splats to tape all around. Will add your idea to Dr. Blindstein's Lab. Thanks for sharing!

My guess is an overhead projector with transparencies (low tech) or a projector with a computer (high tech).
That's now we do all our tracing...

| Well Mindy, I guess I'm below "low tech."  !I printed a 1/2 page size of the beaker on a sheet of card stock. I cut it out, used it as a stencil, and traced the beaker on to the foam with a Sharpie. Pam |
