| | OK...I really need someone from the field test to clarify this for me. Directions read: bubble solution for each crew consisting of 2 gallons distilled water, 6 cups dawn dish soap, and 4 cups corn syrup I have 10 crews so we are looking at 20 gallons of water...480 oz dishsoap...320 oz corn syrup. Plus the 3 pools, bubble wands, hula hoops and cinder blocks. Even with having my pools and cinder blocks donated, and already having hula hoops...I am looking at spending $40 on dish soap...$16 on corn syrup and $14 on distilled water. That comes to $70, not to mention that I will probablly have to buy some bubble wands. That is too much for 1 game. I think the idea is awesome, so I hope I am just figuring this out wrong. Please help!!! OH, also...someone brought to my attention the issue of using the corn syrup and having problems with insects, mainly ants. Thoughts???

| | No, the guide says one mixture per crew. I'm just trying to see if those totals for the amount needed are right. I may have to change it to one per rotation though so that we can do it. This is the link from the last discussion about it and we never got any answers from someone at Group or someone from the field test, so I just thought I would bring it up again since people (like me) are probablly getting into the purchasing supplies phase.

| | Hi Missy, Isn't the solution reusable? Like I have 20 crews but per rotation I only have 4-5 crews. So I bought solutions good only for 5 crews- 10 gallons of water, etc. The next 5 crews will come in and use the bubble solution again, right? Nice

| | Do a web search for "bubble solution." You can make bubbles with Dawn or Joy detergent, regular tap water, and glycerin (takes only a little). You can make it without the glycerin, but it seems to make better bubbles. Here's a bunch of recipes: http://bubbleblowers.com/homemade.html |

| | CM- The gylcerin seems to cost the same amount as all the corn syrup would, but I might do that anyways just because of the possible ant problem. Thanks for the web site! Nice- That is exactly what I'm trying to find out! I may have to just email Jody or somebody personally and then I will let ya'll know. Do not fear Bubble Makers...we will get to the bottom of this bubble mystery!

| You can reuse the solution for all of the rotations. However, you may want to have a couple of pools set up so both crews can go at the same time.

| | OK...so one big batch of the solution will work for all the crews. Or one batch per pool would work better maybe? We will have 3 crews at a time. 3 rotations of 3 crews and 1 rotation of preschoolers...which will be a small group. So 10 total crews. I think the web toy box said for a group of 75 the equivalant would be 3 batches. Does that sound right? Thanks Jody for responding!
