I'm looking for a team building outing for our Preteen Club 56 and was wondering if anyone has tried Low Rope Challenge Courses with Preteens. If so, how did that work?

Did you go to a Challenge Course facility off site? If so was it Church camp? Independent company?

If an independent company, how much did it cost and did YOU have to provide the Christian perspective on your own or did they have that in their program?

How did you provide Safety precautions or modifications for kids with physical challenges?

How did the experience result in positive Team building? Please explain.

Any other insights you'd like to share would be appreciated!

We are taking our 4-6 graders to a low ropes course this summer.  It is at a Christian camp, and we have been there before with our youth ministry.  I was just there with a group of children's pastors this past Monday, and the activities all would be great for preteens.

They are also using the rock climbing tower and zip line while we are there.

Just found out there is a low ropes course available not too far from our church. Please share with us how your 4th -6th graders respond to that experience at camp when you get back.
