| | A couple of years ago (maybe several) we had a man come speak at church. He had a really cool outreach idea. He had "developed" this really unique way to throw a frisbee. It was different from anything we had seen and the frisbee would fly! To reach others, he had multitudes of frisbees printed with a salvation prayer in the center of the frisbee. Then he would go out to recreational areas (parks, beaches, etc.) and just start throwing the frisbee around. People would approach him about his unique throwing style. Then he would pull out a second frisbee and teach them how to throw it. The frisbee was theirs to keep. Sometimes they would ask him about his faith, other times they wouldn't. He didn't pressure or preach. But when they walked away, they had that prayer with them and a seed had been planted. |
