I have felt a calling for youth every since I accepted Christ.  By youth I mean 13-17 (roughly).  I finally said 'I am doing it!'...tired of waiting around for an opportunity.  So I stepped into the children's church where the age ranged from 9-17!  It was so hard to teach the younger ones without the older ones getting bored and hard to teach the older ones without the younger ones going "huh?".  So we decided a seperation was needed.  Sure we still will do things as a large group (human videos, outings, even snacks) but to teach, they must be seperated.  There was my nitch!

So, we are currently working on a human video but once that is done next month, we are separating them.  The church even gave us a room that would be ours!

The only problem is we only have about 6 youth in that age group.  On Weds. we have so many more youth that come for youth night---like 20 or so.  How can I get youth to take interest in Sunday morning youth group?  I don't go on Weds because I live 40 minutes away.  But I would like ideas on how I can get the youth in and make the whole youth group fun and interesting so the youth will want to tell their friends.

Any ideas?

You could post this on the Youth Ministry part of the Group Message Board and see what you get.

I think anything would work. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
