In the recent harbor freight flyer is a self standing garden bag. It is a round yellow clinder with black bands. It is on sale for $7.99. I am going out to Harbor Freight and check it out. I would spray paint it orange so that my green slime will show up. Best yet when not in use it compresses down to a compact one inch high. I have no access to an old oil drum so this might be the next best thing. I can make a top for it out of card board.

Sounds like a good inexp. alternative! Thanks. I was looking for something to have up on the stage for a pretend slime concoction that we will add to every night. We have an old fashioned boys against girls offering contest each night. The winner ( I represent the girls our male song leader represents the boys) each night will go and add more slime components(dry ice) to the vat just for show. On Friday the overall winner will slime the loser. We so something that has to do with the theme each year, but slime lends itself well don't you think?!

We have 2 cardboard barrels with lids. Planning to paint those for our toxic barrels and then add the balloons.

I got to harbor freight today and I now have a toxic with God's Love barrel. It is bright yellow with black band around it. It is a collapsible garden bag. It goes from one inch to 23 inches. It is 18 inches across. I was worried it would not be strong enough to hold up for a week but it is made out of the same material they make tarps out of. It is really bright in color that I decided not to paint it and will just put a warning sign on it.

That will be an easy decoration to finish! You may be able to see one at onestopgardens.com or www.harborfreight.com. The item number is 03234

Where did you find the cardboard barrells?

For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.

I am not sure where we got the barrels. Someone said a moving company has them. We actually had 5 in the attic!

We may not paint them. If we want them another color we are going to cover them with shiny silver paper (we have a roll that is thicker than foil). I think wide foil would work though.
