I really have to thank God for this forum. What a wonderful blessing. When I started directing VBS 11 years ago, I was on my own. Now, what wonderful connections are made here.  I am so excited that we will be able to share the bounty of God's gifts with our decorations and other supplies that will pass from one church to another. I pray for you all in NC that God will give you strength and a calmness to get through all of your VBS preparations. I know it is a stressful time, and yet at the same time a very exciting and fun time. I pray that the people around us only see our excitement and none of our stress.

Blessings to you all,

Allison in NC!

I am asking that ya'll will pray for more workers for our church.  It is like pulling teeth to round up enough willing souls to help me.  I am wondering if in the past the people have gotten scared of VBS because none of them want to help said they don't have the time and energy.  I try to explain this is an easy VBS but they just are not getting it.  Right now my biggest praise is Allison.  I am so thankful is going to pass along her decorations.  We are on a small budget so decorations were going to be skim but not anymore!  Praise God!!  I am also going to the Dominican Republic the end of July to direct VBS there please be in prayer for that as well.  I was told last year they had kids out the wazoo so planning is very hard especially when all supplies for crafts are donated only.  I will be praying for all of you as you embark on the VBS journey as well.

Serving My Father,

I am in Yadkinville, NC which is on the other side of Winston-Salem then the rest of ya'll... I am new to this forum but have gotten great ideas and have used them. This is my first year in full time ministry. I am only 22! So ya'll have been a big help to me. Pray for me as our chruch is going through turmoil and I am hoping that VBS will begin to bring us back together.... and for me that I don't have a melt down doing VBS with them. I have done VBS' in Mexico and Alabama but this just seems a lot different to me.
