Thanks for ministering to children! As you are looking to get your Living Inside Out program started, here are some ideas other churches have shared for how they kicked off their programs. Please share your ideas, too!

From EllieJane:

1. Play a relay where the kids have to run to a bucket of clothes, take an item out, turn it inside out, and then run back.
2. For snacks make inside out sandwiches. This may be a little messy but that makes it better! Put two pieces of bread in the center with peanut butter and jelly on the outside.
3. I am not sure what your weather is like but you could set up your stage or worship area outside just like it is inside.
4. For a craft you could do something to do with hearts. When we are living inside out we want people to see our hearts.
5. Another craft idea is to have the kids decorate shirts (or hats) inside out. Encourage them to wear these items to school and then when they are asked why they are inside out they would be able to invite people to come with them to church.

From McKnightWrite:

I love all your great ideas. Here are a few we came up with to add to your list:

1. We bought scratch magic bookmarks from Oriental Trading. Kids scratch a design into the black surface and the color comes from the inside-out.

2. A P.E. teacher is going to lead parachute games and we're renting a bounce house for the little kids--not exactly "inside-out", but good for generating excitement.

3. We're trying to borrow a "human body" model from a school nurse or physician's office so we can talk to the kids about how God made us inside and out - and challenge them to think of ways to show the love for God that's in their hearts on the "outside".

Keep sharing your ideas! And thanks for helping kids live their faith, inside out! God bless you and your ministry!
