In the past years we had to visit the carpet stores and ask for the cardboard tubes that carpet comes on. We have built palm trees, log cabins and other things. This year you could make "super size" test tubes or what I'm thinking industrial piping. By cutting (mitering at 22.5) you could make long turn 90's. Pipe flanges are made by cutting circles out of foam. Maybe wrap w/ tin foil from the $1 store. Just thought I share this idea. Sorry still thinking...paint blue for water lines, yellow for gas, white for air lines and orange for waste lines...ooo I may need help w/ this...

Blue = Heaven

Black = Sin

White = Forgiven

Red = Blood

Green = Blessing

Yellow = Life

Joe,
Allison had a post. She is covering her carpet rolls with lights then wrapping bubble wrap around it. It will look like a standing tube of water.

We still had our PVC pipe from last year's set, already cut to various lengths with flanges for a base.  We painted the pipe various colors, leaving some white at the top.  The group then added black electrical tape lines to represent the marks on a graduated cylinder.  We cut the plywood bases in half and connected three pipes to each and will use them as a background.

I want to see if I can fit the top of one with a bowl that we can add dry ice & water to...
