| | Every year we end up buying a gallon or two of cheap latex paint for VBS. Last year (for Avalanche ranch) we bought Purple (for mountains) and Brown (for fences, posts, trees, etc.) This year, I want to get some grey or silver metallic looking paint. The only think I've found is a metallic glaze, but that means I'd have to buy a gallon of base coat paint and a gallon of glaze - and they're both the expensive brands too. Any suggestions? Is there something I can just add right to a gallon of grey paint to make it look metallic? -Leah |

| | We just use the acrylic paints you can find at walmart in the craft section - Apple Barrel I think is the brand. You can buy big or small amounts. We have painted all our scenery on the foam board using this with foam rollers. It covers really good and seems to be cheaper than buying large latex gallons. I'm pretty sure they have metallic colors. Good luck! Laura |

| | The matalic paint is wonderful and goes along ways from apple barrel. Look for BUddies coming alive you can see how the paint looks I also too regular paint and got a pig containger of silver and painted a thin coat over them its a nice size container Of Craft smart. from Micheal craft store. Its 16 fl oz and it really thin . It metallic silver . the have gold as well Hope this helps God bless Doreen Apple barrel and american paint are better

| | The paint isn't expensive and One tube of the color lasted for my characters plus on each color I paid 79 cents each for them God bless Doreen
