Hello! My VBS is next week. I haven't been on these boards for a long time but I have been reading...thank you all for wonderful ideas.

I am wondering what you all put in your Crew Leaders Bags.

Blessings!

We put the schedule, tissues, wipes, pens, Bible books, stickers to attach the daily challenge, nametags (after the 1st day), crew signs that the kids carry around when they move from place to place, a crew list with emergency contact info (I keep a master list with me and one with our nurse, and in our office), and stickers that have the day's Bible verse and buddy on them.  We put the stickers on the kids in the morning to help them learn the verse.

Each morning before we start we go through the bags and change to the new schedule, check the rest of the supplies, add the new verse and we are good to go.

Hope that helps.  For our crew bags we use some canvas type bags we got from OTC.  They have lasted for 4 years, and when washed are really still in great shape.  It was one of our good VBS investments.

We do not have the crew leaders carry anything but their crew sign and rotation schedule.  We have found that we are small enough(80-100 kids at vbs) that we don't need the bags.  We have boxes that are painted and labeled with their station and color on it in the craft area for each group.  when they finish their craft it goes inthe box.  at the end of the night the crafts come to the finale and the leaders get their box.  the kids take their crafts and leave their name tags and buddy beakers  for the next day.  last day they take it all home.  we tried the leader carrying it all around and found it a hassle.  we have first aid kids in different rooms for issues, as well as tissues and anything else they may need.  Our may registration has all the emergency contact info due to they would be the one to contact the adult of the child.  But, that's what works for us.

Thank you both SO MUCH! I may combine both of your ideas.

My mind is a bit 'overwhelmed' so I can't thank you enough for your help.

Blessings.
