I love all the "simple" but large props.  They have such clean lines so it doesn't look busy yet it is really cool to look at everything.  Great job!

Wow! That looks like fun, sign me up! What do you have in your containers with the lights? What type of lighting did you use?

Hi! I'm Shara's prop-helper!  We just used christmas lights for most of the lighting!  I got some 9X13 aluminum pans from Dollar Tree that have holes all over them (I think they are for grilling veggies on the BB-Q- and I've seen them at the grocery store too!) and taped (with clear packing tape) the christmas lights inside - not sticking through the holes, just laying the lights on the inside. Then I cut a hole through the cardboard and fed the end through to plug it in.  The 3 tubes on top of the time machine are 3 pieces of hard plastic tubing that I found around our homes construction site - in the garbage - that we pulled the christmas lights through.  I loved using all the great ideas from this board - you are all amazingly creative people! - and yes I tend to be a VBS junkie - all ready thinking about next year......
