| | Hi All, I am a new CE leader and plan on recognizing teachers (including SS, Children's Church and Nursery volunteers) during worship (something not done in recent past). I need to keep it brief and plan on giving teachers a small flower/plant (that kids will hand out once I have the adults standing). Just wondering if there are other creative ideas out there (even if it's more elaborate, please share so I can keep in mind for next year). Thanks. |

| one year i rec'd a framed saying, something like "100 years from now it will not matter what car you drove," etc. and then it ends with, what will be remembered is that you were important in the life of a child...so, something framed that has words that will touch the heart might be another idea. also, i think having your pastor say a few words would be meaningful to the teachers as well. i think having the kids give the teachers something is a nice touch, thanks for the idea.
