Last year I saw the LARGE Chadder puppet. Is that available for purchase? If so, where can I purchase it from . Our kids absolutely love Chadder and we use the puppet in the class to get the children's attention. But the small puppet is just way too small for the set ups we fix. He looks like a little dot on a wall.

Please help!!! If the puppet is not available for purchase, does anyone know where I can get a large Chipmunk puppet?

Thanks, Pam in MS

I know what you mean.  The larger Chadder would be very effective.  I looked around on the Internet to see if there was a larger one available.  I found many the same size as Chadder, but they didn't look like him.  I didn't find any larger ones, but I was thinking about how to highlight the smaller one, and I thought if you had a black curtain puppet stage area, then, he'd show up better.  If you had a microphone for him, even a kid's kareoke machine, it might be effective.  Even lighting him with a spotlight or something might bring him to a more important position.  Just some thoughts!

I looked around on the websites we use for puppets (we have our own team that travels, but never really a call for a chipmunk LOL) and puppetproductions has a racoon puppet that is 19" tall which is average height for puppets.  Check out this link http://puppetproductions.stores.yahoo.net/raccoon.html

It isn't cheap though so I guess you would really want to have it and it won't look just like chadder but you could make it work somehow.  If you had time you could get one made.  There is a person who makes puppets to order but it couldn't look just like chadder as that would be a legal copy right issue.

Group has a Chadder pattern that you can buy. Then, you would need a seamstress to create it. The patterns will create a Chadder costume and it would be big enough for an adult leader to dress up as Chadder.

Did you perhaps see the actual Chadder visiting a church last year?  Emeta did go to one church who won the contest.
