We have a harvest fest each year, but we need to do some improvements.  Would you discribe how Slime Time is different then a traditional harvest fest?  Would you explain how it works please!

thanks, Pam

Well, I don't know what you do now, but here are a couple of things that they do at Group's Fall Fests:

  • The kit contains great decorating ideas
  • The games all focus on a Biblical truth or story from VBS.
  • There are trading cards with Bible verses that are given out during the evening
  • The gospel message is presented in a creative and engaging way (something like Bible Blast) every 15 minutes or so.
  • There is a great deal of focus on creating relationships with parents and followup to get the kids who come back in the doors for Sunday School and church!
  • The games are tested and different every year.
  • Oh, and you can reuse your VBS decorations!  LOL

You can see pictures from last year's WWFF here:

Do you know if slime Time will have a Catholic version? Our church purchased the Catholic version of Power Lab, and we are looking into maybe doing a fall program if we can swing it.

thanks in advance

I don't think they have in the past (but I really don't know)!  But I would think that there isn't anything theologically deep enough to warrant a Catholic version.
