| | Day one is over.....During Cinema Science we lost power to the class room....the devil thought he was going to stop a good thing....We moved the class to a corner in the fellowship hall...and all was good......My son checked the braker box and nothing was flipped...we found out later that there are two braker boxes......My son and I only knew of the one in the senior class closet but there is also one in the nursery.....It ended up being nicer in the fellowship hall the kids had more room to do the experiments. We have never did the rotating stations before so far it is going great....... |

| | Way to go on the first night! Our Power Lab is awesome as well! I was wondering how I could get some of the invisi-pens that are in the Cinema Science Kit - the kids (and the crew leaders) LOVE them. Thanks, Tammy in Texas |

| We just completed our first night on Monday. We got 50 kids from the community. I could tell right away the kids (AND crew leaders) love the music this year. It's so energetic, and the kids love the hand movements to the theme song. Our Sonic Sing & Play leader is very enthusiastic as well, and everyone loves Professor Wilma! I will be uploading pics of our amazing stage soon. I'm looking forward to Day 2 tonight!
One negative, though: Many people thought Chadder was a little scary this year. Hopefully the younger ones won't get nightmares.

| James,
Our leader who is our Pastor. He loves Chadder and volunteers every year. He brings a canteen of M and m' s and gives out to the kids as they watch it. I think its a comfort blanket for them as I have heard no complaints.

| | That's great that everything's going well with your Power Lab VBS programs. I watched Chadder's Science Adventure again a couple of days ago and I do agree that it would be scary for some of the younger kids. But then again that's the theme...a mad scientist and his experiments. I like what Group did but it could be toned down too. God Bless, Josh T. in Ohio

| | Last night was are 3rd night and still going strong and great....just an idea in bible blast the station leader used a foot scrubber/massager that goes in the shower , and just barely coverd it with water...I came in at the end to get her feed back on how everything was going she had me to try it. It actually felt like you were walking on water with just a little tickle to your feet. I highly recomend it, it was great. |
