| | I was wondering if Group is planning on doing Power Lab in Spanish like they did Avalanche Ranch. Last year I translated Avalanche Ranch to Spanish for our Mexico trip and later found out that it would be available later on in the year (still too late for our trip). This year we will not be going to Mexico (we kinda knew that last year) but I was able to leave a copy of Lava Lava Island in Spanish with the church, so that is what they are doing this year. I'm thinking ahead to next year...Will I have to translate again or will I be able to get Power Lab in Spanish through Group? |

| | If Group is creating a Spanish Power Lab curriculum it will be available when the 2009 VBS programs are. You'll can know for sure in November when the Crocodile Dock and Holy Land Adventure: Rome catalogs come out. It'll say in the catalogs. If Jody knows more about this I'm sure she'll post her response. God Bless, Josh T. in Ohio

| There's currently no plan to have a Spanish Power Lab program. We're exploring the possibility of having Crocodile Dock in Spanish.

| | If Croc Dock is done in Spanish... 1) Would it be available the same time that the English comes out? and/or 2) Would it be done in bilingual fashion like Avalanche Ranch? I haven't seen the bilingual version. Would I be able to use a version like that to prepare one VBS with English speaking teachers and another with Spanish speaking teachers so I don't have to buy two sets of Leader's manuals? Sorry for all the questions. |

| | We just did Group's Avalanche Ranch in Spanish at an orphanage in Tijuana. It was well-received! The curriculum is so clear, and the translations are really good. I highly recommend this VBS if you ever have the opportunity to do it in Spanish. I'd love to be able to provide Lava Lava Island for these kids and would love to hook up (by email) with anyone who has materials, translations, etc. Thanks! Highlights: watching Chadder again and again; better crafts than the English version; singing such great songs together. Deanne in California

| | We were surprised and delighted to find a large number of kids who signed up at the last minute spoke very little English. I had two bilingual leaders who tried to translate but I would have liked to have something to send home so the parents could understand what the kids were up to each day. Actually something in English would be good also. We had parents freaking out when their kids came home and said they were blindfolded or had to take their shoes off... |

| | It seemed to me that Power Lab is a perfect candidate for a VBS in other countries because all the cool science experiments/object lessons/crafts etc. are cross-cultural. Our church has already played with the possibility of packing up this program to take on next year's mission trip. Would be awesome to see this program translated into Spanish. |
