For our Power Lab we are lining up about 3 long tables on each side of the main stage area as our "lab".  I will be put caution tape up to block the kids from touching the glass-ware, but I need some ideas for table coverings.  I saw that cool idea of bubble wrap or foil blankets, but we called around and didn't find that stuff on sale anywhere.  Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Daria

The foil blankets work great and they are frequently sold with First Aid equipment for about $1 or so.  Look for "Mylar blankets" or "rescue blankets."

We used emergency blankets for our table covers. Target had them in the dollar section, but when I checked a few days ago they were gone. I checked Walmart in the camping section and they had them for $1.76. We bought colored metallic table skirting from the dollar store. It is all nice and shiny and it hides the cords to the lava lamps and other equipment.  Hope that helps! Have a great VBS! We started today!!

Many Blessings,

Jaq

try papermart.com- they have mylar on rolls that is pretty cheap (. Or there is lime green table cloth plastic on rolls from party stores- then you can slit a pool noodle lengthwise, open it up slightly and push it over the edge of the table.

From papermart
METALLIC MIRRORIZED ROLLS
Sometimes called mirrorized "Mylar" this product is actually mirrorized .80mil polypropylene. Mirrorized on both sides in. Great for adding sparkle and sizzle to your special packaging. We also have shredded here.

SOLD BY THE ROLL
30" x100' $14.49
