| | We have been using Group VBS for 4 years now, and we have always had Preschoolers in their own room as the material says. However, we have always put Kindergarteners in their own crews in one rotation. When they get to Chadder, they do the preschool books following the instructions from the preschool manual, and when they get to crafts, they usually do the same craft as the preschoolers. All crew leaders carry the worksheets in their bags. The "K" crew leaders carry crayons in their bags, so the station leader doesn't have to be concerned with that part. They choose their Daily Challenge during snack time just like the other kids, except this year it was putting the buddy sticker on the back of the worksheet - the "K" crew leaders had the sticker sheets in their bags as well. (By the way, all of this paper in the crew bags is in a pocket folder to keep it nice.) The way I choose which rotation the "K" crews are in (A, B, C, or D) is by which snack is the second easiest to make, since the preschoolers always get the easiest snack to make on Monday. This year the "K" Crews were Group A. |
