| I tried classic (not washable) crayola, but they didn't dry. The colors weren't very bright and it seemed to bead up like water droplets. Should I use Sharpies or Bic Mark-its? |

| We did this craft and used Sharpies and they turned out bright and colorful and dried immediately. We had the kids make a second one to give to the local Samaritan Center and used that as our hands-on mission project.

| | Use any permanent marker, sharpies are fine, but there still may be some "wipe off" until it has had time to really soak in and dry, We had some come off on a wall that was freshly painted, got a red smudge. Don't over color, just mark and go on, also, my friend used fabric paint to get a color she wanted. Remember this is a semi-pourous material and the material really never stays on. if if gets wet it may rub off. You might actually want to use and old rag after they are set and done to try and smudge off, this may give you more confidence. We used "Marks A Lot" markers by Avery, they were permanent.
