| | Hello there friends!!! We just discovered that our bears from the OK2K project from the summer were never sent. The person in charge dropped the box off at our church annex and now we have this dilema. We promised the kids that these would be sent to Africa and we even had a special prayer service for this project and a special fund raiser specifically to purchase these prayer bears. We have recieved quite a response from visiting kids as well as our own wanting to know if the kids in Africa recieved the bears. We love doing Groups VBS and will always continue. We just need help in getting things done the right way. Do you have any suggestions? Where can we send the bears? and it also seems like the rest of the project was never completed. Can you provide some Guidance as to what else is needed and when and where to send the bears? Your help will be a blessing to many! thanks Bro O. at Kids Church

| | Here's the directions from the Avalanche Ranch Director Manual page 55: What do I do with the bears when they're finished? Once your Avalanche Ranch ends, send your completed Prayer Bears to International Bible Society for distribution. Here's how... 1. Look at each bear to be sure it's finished. 2. Place the bears and copies of The Survivor's Bible in a sturdy box. Please include a check for $25 made out to International Bible Society. This helps defray distribuution costs. 3. Seal the box and mail it to: International Bible Society c/o Operation Kid-to-Kid 1820 Jet Stream Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80921 I hope this helps you. Post if you have any more questions. God Bless. Josh T. in Ohio

| | Could someone contact us on the orgin of these Prayer Bears Please.. One reason is that the Prayer Bears Ministry, Inc. has been doing these for many years. Being the founder & copyright of a orginal one in 1993 though they have changed in somewhat during the years. We are a 501c3 organization, we just did the Sunday School program for the UMC that went national in 08. They are gobal today. 1)Given freely to those in crisis with each stitch being a prayer. 2)The material is fairly inexpensive, so the cost should be as well. 3)Remembering it is God's work we are called to do, the reflection is in what we say, do, and think. 4)help other groups repeat what we do, for God's Glory, Work, Will, Ways. Reflecting His Hope, Peace, Comfort, Love, and Grace in Jesus' name. May God continue to bless each and everyone who is doing this wonderful work God has called you to.. Thank you for sharing so much of your Prayers and Love of God with so many around the world in Jesus' name.. Have a great and wonderful Blessed day.. Terry Krawitz

| Sorry, I'm a little confused about which program you'd like more information about. Are you interested in the Group prayer bear project? This project is just a part of Operation Kid-to-Kid, a partnership with Group and International Bible Society. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
