While looking for AR items at Big Lots yesterday, I ran across a really cool fish net that would be great for all of you doing GBTS.  I didn't look at the price because I was in a hurry but it's bound to be cheap there!

I got one today!  It was $10 and it has shells in it.  What a bargain!  It was in the section of luau/tiki bar supplies.

FYI . . . while this is nearly irrelevant . . . I was fascinated to see that Big Lots had a bag of a THOUSAND q-tips for .99.   WOW!!  (It's the little things that make me happy!)

Yes, Amy, when we travel overseas, we are often asked to bring Q-tips for Americans who live there and can't get them.

Now you know where to get them, Dennis!

I guess my British friend is correct -- Americans are obsessed with personal hygiene.  We went to Mexico last summer and stayed at an all-inclusive.  Without exception, every traveler review we read from Americans mentioned that they didn't provide washcloths.  No other international travelers said a word about it.  You can bet your sweet patooty that we packed our own!

Yes, we always tell people to bring their own wash cloths.  It is really interesting what we in America just take for granted in our travels.  Amy, I really like your new siggy, very clever and appropriate to the new HL.
