I just heard some sad news from our Church Director.....that a rep called from Group and told her that this material will not be continuing past this summer.   I think its a real real shame and wonder why?   Seems that this is the most modern material that Group has for the lower elementary kids?

Hi, Dave. I just finished posting info about our schedule in a new 'production schedule' topic under the General subcategory. We are stopping production after we release the next three modules, for a time. We were hearing from many churches that we're getting ahead of them, and so we wanted to slow down and give folks a chance to 'catch up.'

We know that for some of you, this means questions about what to do for fall. We've included some ideas for you in that email as well, and will help out in any way we can for you. If you let us know what your ministry goals are, we'll do our best to help you out.

In the meantime, we'd love your feedback, ideas, and questions. I'd love to see people share (perhaps under "Getting Started") how they transitioned to a large-group/small-group format and the different space needs.

Please let me know if I can be of service in any other way. God bless you and your ministry!

When will Group be announcing if more modules will be produced?  Churches will need to know that answer when deciding what to do for Fall.

Cindy, we don't have new modules for fall. That's why we sent the message. Sorry if that was not clear. At this point, we don't have a date set to have new modules available. When we do, we'll let you know.

We wanted to get the word out as soon as possible, knowing that at least some of you are starting to think fall already. Again, we don't have new modules for this fall.

Please let us know how we can help you through this transition. God bless you and your ministry.

Guess I should have explained further.  I did understand that there would not be a new Fall 2007 quarter.  I was just thinking that if I knew it would production would return for the Winter quarter, then I would probably lean toward finding something temporary.  If it could be 2008 before any more quarters even had the potential of starting through production (if at all), then I would look for something more long-term in nature.  Hope that makes more sense.

Ahhh.. Thanks, Cindy, for the further explanation! At this point, we don't have a date in mind for production starting up again. I would say it would be best to assume we won't have any new modules this year. I wish I had a firm date to give you, but we don't have anything more concrete at this time.

Blessings!

Please, please give us some direction as to the winter series.  We have to plan so far ahead and the thought of switching curriculum is dreadful.  When will you have an idea of whether or not the series will continue?

I apologize that I missed this post when I was on yesterday. We don't have a firm schedule. I'm guessing that I won't have any more information for at least 4 to 6 weeks. It may be longer than that. We're continuing to pursue this, and will let you know as soon as there are any updates.

Please keep sharing your thoughts and ideas. And let me know if I can be of service in any other way. God bless you and your ministry.
