So I've been calling and leaving messages with folks at group since yesterday morning, and have gotten NO response.  I'm beyond frustrated.  Don't know if this board gets enough traffic that someone will see this in time to help, but just in case....

Anyone ever incorporate parts of the DVD into Media Shout?  Our kids, for the first time since switching to LIO, are helping to lead worship in big church this weekend.  I'm wanting to use the video for the theme song and project it onto the screens in the sanctuary, which requires importing the file into Media Shout.  For the life of me, I can't get it to work - neither can our usually techno-wizard worship pastor.  Any ideas to help me with this?????

Thanks,

Someone can correct me if I am wrong. Groups DVD are copy right protected and so you can not take parts off the Dvd . You can however play and select for the DVD for you song to be played.   Hope this helps some . We Use groups DVD and play them off the dvd onto our screens at church in our worship service. My husband is our Tech for our sound system and computer for worship

Here's some information about running the Living Inside Out DVDs.

You can use Quick Time but Quick Time needs a plug-in (Mpeg II playback component) in order to play DVDs and it costs a little money. On the Mac, Quicktime actually uses a separate program called "DVD Player". Windows media doesn't play DVDs unless it's the newest version, I believe, so there's a chance the Windows media player is out of date.

In the end both of those media players are not true DVD players although Windows Media is getting close.

For a really good quality free player I would recommend the VLC Player available here: [/http://www.videolan.org/vlc/]

I hope this is a helpful solution.
